Glycerol Mono Stearate (GMS-90) is a high-purity, non-ionic emulsifier containing approximately 90% monoglycerides, widely used in food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and industrial applications. It appears as a white to off-white waxy solid or flakes with excellent emulsifying, stabilizing, and thickening properties.
GMS-90 is derived from glycerol and stearic acid and is valued for its ability to improve texture, consistency, and shelf stability in formulations. Due to its high monoglyceride content, it offers superior performance compared to standard grades of GMS.
